Chris has over 19 years of steamfitting and boiler related experience and has been a part of the NW Industrial Mechanics, Inc. since 1994. In 2002, he graduated from a 5-year steamfitter apprenticeship program through UA Local 290 out of Portland, Oregon. Chris specializes in boiler and piping projects, maintains the Quality Control program and coordinates, prepares and dispatches construction jobs from the Vancouver office.
Additionally, Chris has been involved in all aspects of the boiler industry ranging from both inside and outside sales, service, estimating, preparing bids and job walkthroughs for future construction jobs, installation and repair including pipe fitting, welding, steam systems, equipment installation and project management. He has a strong background in steam systems, installations and how they function. He also tracks and prepares all of NW Industrial Mechanics, Inc. work involved with the R-Stamp and PP Stamp program. He has the ability to design and build steam systems and is well versed with all piping system control. He can design and build pneumatic or electric pressure reducing, diverting or relieving systems for steam, water or gas with the proper control valves in place to accomplish a customer’s specific needs.
Chris values his ability to “get the job done on time, on budget and on schedule” and strives to keep a close relationship with each individual customer ensuring they are informed and satisfied of progress throughout the job. He prides himself with trying to better both himself and NW Industrial Mechanics, Inc. by bringing new ideas and streamlining processes to conduct business quickly and efficiently.
